To current juniors who requested AP Lit next year, there is a mandatory lunch meeting on Tuesday 5/23 at noon in the little theater to discuss summer work. You will have time afterward to eat your lunch!
Yearbooks are here. Pick up or purchase today after school or later this week at lunch or after school.
Today’s Wellness Week activities: Origami & Games w/ Ms. Bliss in Room 308. Wellness tip for the day: Once you have an idea of what your finals will look like, create a schedule to help you study. Splitting the material into chunks can help you keep track of what you’ve accomplished instead of looking at the big picture and getting overwhelmed.
Math Hour is open all week except Friday! Come by after school to the Library Computer Lab for some help. Math Hour will be closed all Finals Week.
All students in grades 9-11 should log in to Aeries ASAP to check your Course Selection for next year. If you would like to make a corrections please submit the google form that was emailed to you on Monday May 23rd by the counselors. Deadline is May 31st.
Turne in your SF State survey by this Friday for $20 in cach. SF State is also doing interviews about how high school students experience discrimination based on immigration. The interviews are confidential and voluntary 30-minute Zoom calls. You need your parent’s permission, and you will receive $30 in cash.
The AHS students art show is this Thursday May 26, from 4:30-7pm in the atriumand Art building halls. Painting, drawing, ceremics, graphics design, and photography will all be included. Bring your friends and family to check out the amazing work and celebrate AHS art students!
Today is the last day to pick up graduation tickets in the atrium at lunch and after school.
The cap and gowns will be available in the atrium during lunch and afterschool. Only for the Senior that place and orde to be delivered at the school.The last day fot pickup is Thursday, May 26th
Sports
Student athletes must turn in all uniforms to the box in the front office ASAP. There is a fine of $50 for all missing uniforms and additional charges for gear. Diplomas/transcripts will be withheld if not returned.
Congratulations to the baseball team! The Cougars pulled off their second consecutive NCS upset by beating West County 5-3 Friday. Albany will travel to San Marin today for a 5pm Semi-Final game!
All spring sports athletes continuing into post-season MUST take a Covid test at Tuesday lunch to be eligible to play. Covid testing for all sports are on Tuesdays only.
