Counseling Office Hours
The Counseling Office is open for drop-ins during passing periods, at Break, Lunch and after school. For urgent situations students may see Ms. Brice in the attendance office (with a pass). If you would like to set up an appointment with your counselor, please email your counselor (contact information below).
Please be aware that due to budget cuts, the Counseling Office no longer has a secretary in the office. Counselors’ administrative tasks have increased which has left us with less time to see students, hence the limited drop-in hours. Please know that counselors do their best to respond to emails in a timely manner but do not respond to emails in the evenings or on the weekends. Thank you for your understanding.
Counselors are assigned to students using alphabetical division of the student body using “LAST NAME.”

We are available to facilitate communication among students, teachers, parents and other members of the school community. We provide personal assistance to students in crisis and help families with referrals for further individual and family support when appropriate. If difficult family circumstances arise during the school year, such as an illness or loss in the family, we can help communicate such important information to teachers. In addition, we provide information about graduation requirements, college admissions, and other post-graduation options.
When a student or parent has a specific question about a class or a grade, it is best to first contact the teacher directly. If assistance is needed in continuing a dialogue, we can step in and help.
