General

• Start with Hello Thursday Challenge: Compliment Day: Try to give Four sincere compliments today. If you get or if you give a compliment today, draw a happy face on the whiteboard by the attendance office.

• Wear green Tomorrow. Green is the color of Sandy Hook Promise. Wear green to promote awareness of social isolation and to show your commitment to creating an inclusive community. The Advisory class with the most students wearing Green will win a donut party!

• We want to invite our new and transfer students to a special lunch (pizza provided!) to welcome them to the AHS community! The lunch will take place in room M1 on Friday, September 27th at 12:18pm. Conversation, games, and more! Ask Ms. Edber or Ms. Hudson for more details--otherwise, come on by

• Attention students interested in going on the Close-Up trip to Washington DC: Interest forms are due to Ms. Hudson or Ms. Lau-Seim today.

• Want a part of $50,000? Come to the CIEE Global Navigators Scholarship and Summer Study Abroad Info Sessions for students and parents on Thursday, September 26, 4pm and 6pm, in the AHS Library.

• Student-athletes! Your team can earn money and you can have fun Sunday volunteering at the Albany Triathlon. Come check in at the Athletic Office today for details. Go Cougars!

• New this year, all daily Bulletin announcements are to be entered online at the AHS website under Daily Bulletin. The deadline to post the next day is 2pm.

College and Career

• AP Exam registration ends this weekend. Be sure that you have signed-up for your exams at totalregistration.net AND linked to your exam at collegeboard.org. Fee waiver documents are due by 9/30. Payments for exams are due by 10/1. Incomplete requests will be denied and unpaid exams will be dropped.

• PSAT registration continues today and tomorrow (Friday is last day). Sign up online at MySchoolBucks.com or by check at the book room. Cost is $30. PSAT test date is Saturday, October 19th, 8:00 am at Albany High. Study guides available in the book room.
