Finals Schedule

General

• Finals schedule this week. Check the school calendar for specific times.
  Tuesday: 5 & 7
  Wednesday: 2 & 4
  Thursday: 6 & Advisory/Make-up Finals
  Friday: Minimum Day

• The Senior Celebration on Friday was a big success! We send a heartfelt THANK YOU to parent Becky Hopwood and her crew for preparing the luncheon and decorating the gym with a beautiful balloon arch. The arch will also be displayed for the AMS and AHS graduations this week. Many thanks to all the students who helped Becky serve food, decorate and clean up the gym, and to Flowerland Nursery and Kim's Cafe for donating flowers and food. Thanks for your support ~ Teamwork makes the dream work!!

• Yearbook distribution starts today after school in the atrium and art building. Limited books for sale $95 at the book room door.

• From the AHS Library: stop by to check out a few books for summer reading. All students & staff may check out up to 5 books.

• Seal of Biliteracy Honor Cords--Students who did NOT pick up their gold cord at the Senior Celebration can do so this week from their current WL teacher or Profe Lim-McAlister in Room 213. Congratulations!

• Seniors: There is a large number of seniors who have not yet picked up their graduation tickets. Please don't wait till the last minute! Come by this week to pick them up!

• Seniors: Please turn in all textbooks by the end of the week including textbooks from previous years. You are done with them and this helps maintain the school textbook supply. Thank you!

• Next year first day of school will be held on August 27th. Student Opening Day will be held on August 22nd.

Clubs and Teams

• Registration for Fall Sports is now OPEN! Check out goalbanyathletics.org to register for Cross Country, Football, Volleyball, Girl's Tennis, Girl's Golf, and Girl's Water Polo. Remember you need a new medical form every year, signed by a doctor after July 1st (June 1st for Football). Tryouts and practices start August 12th for all sports, except Football official season starts August 5th.
