No. 165
Block B Modified SBAC Schedule

General

  • Principal Ritchie's Food for Thought: Asking for help when you need support or asking for help on behalf of a friend is one of the best ways to address anxiety and stress. Please remember that Albany High School is very fortunate to have incredibly talented counselors and mental health supports that are here for all students and staff. Have a positive prom weekend everyone and look forward to a well deserved day of rest on Monday for Memorial Day.

  • Come see AHS Theatre Ensembles student directed productions of 21 Chump Street and This Here Town on Saturday, May 25th at 2:00pm and at 7:00pm in the Little Theatre! Albany Performing and Fine Arts Boosters Raffle before the show!

  • All AHS Library books are due today. Please return books on time, otherwise you will be fined 10 cents per day for each overdue book.

  • Seniors: Graduation ticket distribution will be after school starting on Tuesday, May 21st till the last week of school. Ticket distribution will be only at the end of the school day when all classes end.

  • Seniors: Please check with the bookroom and athletic director to see if you have any outstanding fines, textbooks, and athletic team gear to turn in.

  • Seniors: If you did not complete the exit survey indicating your plans for after graduation, please see Ms. Burns in the counseling office ASAP. We need this information to make sure your final transcript gets sent to the right place!

  • From the AHS Library: students need to return library books and pay any fines due. In order to clear fines, students may: 1) pay cash to the AHS library, 2) donate a book in good condition (choose one AHS students would want to read), or 3) help in the library (community service). If you think we have made a mistake, come see Ms. Scheuer in the library.

  • Come all to Planning Meeting for travel to London and Amsterdam next school year. All interested students invited to join in.

College and Career

  • Attention all students who have signed up to take AP Comparative Government and World Religions next year: the first meetings of the class will be held at lunch on Tuesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 30. The meetings will begin promptly (ten minutes into the lunch period). You must attend one of these meetings.
