General

• All students are invited to provide feedback as we begin the process of hiring our next superintendent. Please attend the student session with our search firm this Wednesday, March 20 from 3:00-4:00 in the AHS library. Your input is valued and critical to the process.

• There will be a follow up forum discussing privilege and education in the Little Theatre during Advisory.

College and Career

• Interested in becoming a lifeguard, swim instructor, aquatic coordinator or aquatic program manager? The Albany Aquatic Center is hiring! Some of the jobs do not require experience and you will get training! See Amanda or Betty at the Aquatic Center to apply.

Clubs and Teams

• Bua Luang Thai restaurant on lower Solano Ave. is holding a fundraiser for the Albany High Swim Team! Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the month of March, Bua Luang will contribute 15% of sales, for dine in, take out or online orders. Just mention the AHS Swim Team!

• Come to Bake for Charity Club today at lunch in the culinary room to bake pie!

• Come to Key Club meeting in Room 205 at lunch today!

Faculty

• Boy’s Tennis @ 2:30

• Boy’s Golf @ 2:30

• Teacher lunch will be on Thursday, March 21st. We will be doing an homage to Mexican Street fare with choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. $10 each. Visit staff lunch website for more details! You can order a gift for someone else. Let us know who and we’ll find out what they want.
