• Want to know what "Red Ribbon Week" is? Stop by the TUPE booth at break in front of the school all week for your personal educational experience.

• Get a FREE ticket to the award-winning documentary "Half the Picture," about female directors in Hollywood and the gender discrimination they face. Screening is Saturday, 11/9, 5-8pm. Discount code: "YOUTH" at Eventbrite.

• Albany Athletics Booster Spirit Store is open until 12/1. If you need some school wear for athletic events or general school spirit, this is where to go to find some! Check out our new apparel at: https://stores.inksoft.com/albany_boosters/shop/home

• Seniors: Achievers will be here during lunch in the atrium on 10/30 ( Last Name A-L), 11/1 (Last name M-Z) and on 12/2 (Last name A-Z) to take orders for cap and gowns, grad announcements, and class ring. Extra order packets are on the Main Office counter.

College and Career

• Every Monday in October & November Counselors will be in room 310 after school to provide college application support. A group of student from CAL will provide a free essay writing workshop. Counselor help during lunch on Tuesday and Thursday.

• In this week's college visit line-up we'll have: Lewis & Clark College, as well as, UC Berkeley's Summer Sessions & Study Abroad Division. See session details on the AHS website in the General Events calendar. Register through Naviance. Space is limited so sign up now.

• Attn: Jrs. & Srs. Applications for the District Attorney's Justice Academy are due on 11/8. DAJA is a great learning experience for those interested in pursuing the study of politics, social justice, law, or the justice system. Pick up an application from the newsstand or download it from alcoda.org
