College and Career

• Every Monday in October & November Counselors will be in room 310 after school to provide college application support. A group of student from CAL will provide a free essay writing workshop. Counselor help during lunch on Tuesday and Thursday.

• Attention College-Bound Seniors! If you missed our Cash for College workshop, Contra Costa College is holding their workshop on Thursday, November 21st at 5pm in Fireside Hall. If you still need help completing your FAFSA or CADAA, be sure to attend!

• Hawaii Pacific University will be on campus this afternoon in the Main Office Conference Room. View details on the AHS website in the General Events calendar. Contact your counselor or Ms. Parrott regarding same-day sign-ups. All students must have a signed visit slip to attend.

• In next week's college visit line-up we'll have: UC Berkeley's Summer Sessions & Study Abroad Division as well as Lewis & Clark College. See session details on the AHS website in the General Events calendar. Register through Naviance. Space is limited so sign up now.
