General

• Start with Hello Wednesday Challenge: Human Bingo Day! Meet some new people today. Fill your Human Bingo Card with new names and drop it off in the box in the Main Office. Drawing for a prize will be during Advisory on Friday.

• Need help with homework? Have a test coming up that worries you? Just need help making a plan for your homework? Then come by the tables in the main atrium at lunch any day to get help. Tutoring is free and we have tutors for all the major subjects.

• Students are invited to participate in the Albany Library's new Teen Advisory Board. The first meeting is this Wednesday, September 26, at 4pm. Develop leadership skills while helping to make the library even better for teens. Snacks will be provided and there will be a raffle for a free book.

• The Advanced Culinary Arts Class and the Business Management Class are proud to offer the first Staff Lunch service of the school year on Thursday, October 4th. All proceeds benefit the educational program.This week's menu features gourmet French cuisine and includes gluten free and vegetarian options, including an appetizer, main and dessert for just $10. COMMUNITY: Please consider thanking one of our wonderful staff by buying them a lunch. Put the staff persons name in the "notes" when ordering and we will check with them about their preferences / dietary restrictions. College and Career

• Seniors did you know some CSU schools are going to start being on a quarter system ? SFSU has some new and exciting programs…. If you are going to apply to CSU school you to attend the CSU application help tips on Wednesday September 26th at lunch in the little theater. Counselor's will be going over the application process and helpful tips for filling it out!

• Attention college-bound Seniors! Next month, we will be hosting a financial aid workshop to help you complete the FAFSA or CADAA. In order to attend, you must sign-up at bit.ly/C4C1819. Space is limited, so sign-up today!

• In today's college visit line-up we have: Haverford College in the Counseling Office Conference Room at 2:00pm.

Clubs and Teams

• Interested in chill jam sessions and waffles? Come to Small Instruments Club in Room 303 today at lunch!

• Come to UNICEF today at lunch in Room 211 to learn about current UNICEF projects! Everyone is welcome!

Faculty

• Thanks for participating in Start with Hello Week! Each day will have an optional classroom tie-in and a Teacher Challenge. Game on!
