General

• Seniors Only: Sign-up and register for your Graduation All Night Party at the Albany Bowling Alley. Friday, June 15th from 10:00 pm – 5:00 am. Tickets are $75 in advance or $100 at the door. Please order your ticket athttp://ahsgradnight2018.eventbrite.com (password is GoCougars) or come to the school office to register and pay by cash or check.
• Do you like money? We have some! You can have some too if you work for us. Come over to the Albany Aquatic Center and apply to work this summer so you can have some money too. 
• Prom is right around the corner, June 2nd.   Tickets will be sold again 5/21 – 5/25 for $95. Dance agreements and list of people who qualify for $5 off prom tickets because of Spring Fling are available on the leadership board.
• EDSET course will be meeting on Friday, May 25th during Advisory in Room M2 to discuss summer homework.
• Attention all 9th graders: This Thursday May 24th, all 9th graders should report directly to the Little Theater for the 57 Bus author assembly at the beginning of period 5.
• Bike to School Day is this Thursday, May 24th! Bike or roll to school and pick up a free bag of bike gear and snacks in the morning.
• If you want a free planner, see Ms. Salas in the bookroom.
• Thursday, May 24th is the last day of the Venture Store- ever! Most items are 40% off. Get your stuff now!

College and Career

• 10th Graders: Do you intend to enroll in English 3 Honors next year? Be sure to attend the Mandatory informational session Tuesday, May 29, from 3:45 – 5:15 p.m. in the multiple purpose room. At the session, we will go over the skills and competencies you will need to complete the required summer reading work and be prepared for the start of the new year. Feel free to contact Ms. Edber or Mr. Rusich if you have any questions.
• Attention students signing up for AP and Honors courses for the 2018-19 school year. Rosters are now posted outside the Counseling Office. Please take note of the courses that have summer homework sessions.

Clubs and Team

• Come to Mr. Places Room 303 for the first Science Bowl meeting of the year after school, we will have food!
• Come to Albany Key Club meeting in Room 302 at lunch! Bring a friend to get candy!
• Best Buddies Movie Day is on Thursday, May 24th.Meet in the Little Theate
