General

• Congratulations to our 18 world travelers! Cara Higgins received a NSLI-Y Scholarship to study in Thailand this summer and Celeste Elsbury will spend her junior year abroad in Spain as a SYA scholar. Mateo Rodriguez was named a CIEE CLTA "Student of the Year" and also received a Global Navigator scholarship to study in Palma de Mallorca. Other 2018 Global Navigators include Kenzi Jolie, Shreya Tamang, Elizabeth Ding, Matthew Hu, Symphony Cheung, Nathaniel Fish, Matthew Nihei, Aidan Robleto, Kunga Divie, Daniella Son, Sooha Ryu, Isabela Colmenar, Peter Mazzotta, Haillie Gillis and Theodore Sanders. Kudos to everyone!
• The Lost and Found will be donated tomorrow. Check in the attendance office for lost items.
• Come and join us for art studio night this Thursday from 4-6pm at room 128 in the art building.  Try using the pottery wheel to make a cup or a bowl that you can actually use out of clay!  Snacks and materials provided!  
• The final due date for all library books is this Wednesday, May 16th. If you need or want library books after this date, you must make arrangements with Ms Oremland. Seniors must have cleared library accounts in order to fully participate in graduation. 
• Prom is right around the corner, June 2nd.   Tickets will be sold again 5/21 – 5/25 for $95. Dance agreements and list of people who qualify for $5 off prom tickets because of Spring Fling are available on the leadership board.
• If you would like to be represented during Black Graduation which will be held on June 8th at 5:30pm, sign up in Room 104, so you can celebrate with BSU! The last day to sign up will be Thursday, May 17th.
• Seniors: Speakers at Large speeches are due to the Attendance Office by Friday, May 18th.
• The Albany choirs programs is having a boba sale this Thursday, May 17! Come by the front of the art building after school and celebrate the end of AP tests!

Clubs and Team

• Come to Room 301 tomorrow at lunch for the engineering games! The winning team will receive Amazon gift cards.
• FOOTBALL meeting this Thursday, May 17th at 1:15pm in the Wrestling Room.  Everyone that plans on playing football is EXPECTED to be there!
• Best Buddies Club meeting on Thursday, May 17th in Room 219 during lunch.
• Join Film Club in Room 206 today for zebra popcorn and discussions about Coraline!
• Come to Albany Key Club meeting in Room 302 at lunch today! Bring a friend to get candy!
