No. 42
Monday Schedule

General

  • Come to the Albany School Board Candidates Forum tonight at 7pm in the Little Theater! Speak with your social studies teacher regarding extra credit, as it will be offered by participating teachers.

  • Seniors: Achievers will be here during lunch in the atrium on 10/30 for last names A-L and on 10/31 for last names M-Z. Achievers will be taking orders for the cap/gowns, announcements, and class rings. The Main Office and Attendance Office has extra Achievers order packets available on the counter.

College and Career

  • Seniors CAL students will be here providing college essay workshops for 12th grade students every Monday after school starting 10/29 to 11/26 in room 310. Do not miss out on getting the support you need for college application essays.

  • Need help filling out your college applications or have questions? Counselors are providing help starting 10/29 to 11/26 in room 310 after school until 5pm. And Tues/Thurs 10/30 to 11/29 at lunch in the counseling office.

  • Hey Cougars! We've moved up from #125 to #46 on the Get Schooled Foundation's Graduate for Más Challenge leaderboard, so we're well on our way to being eligible to get a celebrity appearance here on campus. Currently, the sophomores have the highest percentage of participants, which means if we meet the challenge (reach 1000 points and earn the entire $3000 grant), they will get a stipend as well as a meet and greet with the special guest. There's still time to put your class in the top spot, but you have to be in it to win it, so get registered and get involved at GetSchooled.com/graduate-for-mas today!

Clubs and Teams

  • Girl's Basketball tryouts will be today from 4-6pm and Tuesday, Oct 30th from 4-6pm in the Albany High gym. You will need to be registered and cleared to tryout!

  • Girls soccer try outs are 10/29-11/2 M-F from 4-6:00pm at Cougar Field.
