  • Friday—Period 6 final & Advisory. 12:26p release.
• The Albany Board of Education will be hosting a series of forums to discuss important issues with students and staff. These forums will be held in the AHS atrium from 1:00-2:00 today.
• Come to Zachary’s pizza on Solano next Thursday. Pick up a flyer in the front office or show it on your phone and 15% of your purchase will go to AHS theater!
• Here is some key information, including tips to stay healthy, from national, state and local health agencies:
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your mouth and nose.
  • Clean your hands.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Practice other good health habits.
• The library will be closing at 2pm on Finals days next week. The library will have regular hours on Monday, which is not a finals day.

College and Career

• AP Students: Next week is the last week to register for exams without late fees. Don't delay... Sign-up at bit.ly/AHSAP18 today!
• Schedule change requests forms are available starting Friday January 19th in the main office. Please fill out the form and return to the counseling office on the following dates.
• 11th and 12th Tuesday 1/23 12:30pm to 1:30pm
• 9th and 10th grade Wednesday 1/.24 12:30 to 1:30pm.
• Please note all classes are year long and do not allow mid-year entry. Exceptions for Service and courses needed to meet graduation requirements or college eligible seniors. 
•  Final deadline to apply for Global Navigator Scholarships to study abroad this summer is February 15! Check out the bulletin board by the main office and visit Profe in Room 213 for more information.
