General

• The lost & found is starting to pile up. There are water bottles, jackets, and other items that are waiting to be found. Stop by the attendance office to see if your lost item is there.

• The homecoming canned food drive is happening. Points will be determined by the total number of class donations. No glass or perishable items. All donations must be in by Wednesday, October 22nd, at noon. Bins are in the atrium.

• Hoco dance is Sat OCT 25th, from 7-10 pm. Tickets will be sold in the Gym Lobby during Lunch and After School. Bring your signed dance agreement and cash. You can pick up the dance agreement form from the book room. Tickets are $5. No outside guests are allowed.

• Thursday 10/16: Attention Cougars, Today is the preliminary round for girls' football for the freshman and junior classes. It will be in the gym during lunch. We hope to see you there!

Sports

• The homecoming commencement rally is today, Thursday, October 16th, at 7 pm during the Girls Varsity Volleyball game after school. This rally will also be a homecoming spirit day competition for points. The theme is White Out. Wear as much white as possible to get counted at the entrance!

• Come celebrate our terrific Cougar senior volleyball players tonight- today Albany takes on Hercules at 5:30 in the first round of the TCAL playoffs. Tomorrow night at 6:30 is Senior Night, where the seniors will be formally honored. Come join the fun!

• 10/15 Girls Volleyball (Varsity only) vs Hercules. First round of TCAL playoffs at 6:30. Theme: Pink out 10/16. XC Home meet at Cesar Chavez Park – 10/16 Girls Volleyball Senior Night vs. El Cerrito, JV 5:30, Varsity 6:30, but be there at 6 for the senior night ceremony, Theme = White out

• Today is a big day in Cougarville! The Cross Country team opens their TCAL season with a race against El Cerrito, Salesian, and Pinole. Our Golf Cougars go for the knockout punch as they take on St. Mary's this afternoon- a win clinches a league championship! Go get it, Cougars!

• Cross Country, early release at 2:00 pm

• Girls Golf, early release at 2:30 pm
