Albany High School is dedicated to the intellectual, personal, and social growth of every student. We provide vibrant academic and extra-curricular opportunities in an environment where all students, staff, families, and communities are respected and valued. Mr. Bryant Is Music Educator Of The Year!

Craig Bryant, Director of Instrumental Music at Albany HS and orchestra teacher at Albany MS, is the recipient of the CMEA Byron Hoyt / Don Schmeer Band Educator Award for 2025-2026. He will be recognized at the California All-State Music Education Conference Kickoff Celebration on January 15, 2026 in Sacramento. He was chosen for this top honor out of all band directors in the state of California. Congratulations to Mr. Bryant for this prestigious acknowledgement of the incredible contribution he makes every day to our students!

Student Body

Albany High has a diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural population, composed of about 16% Hispanic/Latinx, 32% White, 27% Asian, 4% African-American, and 16% multi-ethnic. We have 6% English Learners and 34% fluent-English proficient students. At least 23% of students qualify for the Free/Reduced Price Lunch Program. The graduation rate for recent cohorts is around 95%.
