Student Services Support Referrals

Submissions from this form are checked regularly by our counselors, administrators and mental health staff. If you have concerns about a student for any reason, please let us know.

Internet Access

The California Department of Education is maintaining a website for families who need help connecting to the internet for financial or technical reasons.

 

AUSD Ed Tech Website

In order to provide additional support during the pandemic, the District is providing two full-time TSA’s who collate tech resources here.

 

COVID-19 Daily Symptom Checker

The Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), are requiring that each staff member have their symptoms checked daily for COVID-19 before coming to school. This form must be completed whether you has symptoms or not. The symptom checker must be completed every morning before you enter any school campus.

Teacher absences

If you are going to be absent, log the absence in ReadySub. If another faculty member is willing to cover your class, they can do so and be compensated at the hourly rate. You should add an asynchronous assignment to Google Classroom for students to complete. At the end of the month, remember to complete the Monthly Leave Record through Informedk12.com

 

Faculty Remote Learning Costs Reimbursements

The following instructions are from CBO Jackie Kim:

ATA unit members may request reimbursement up to $300 for distance learning related expenses.

  1. Submit receipt/or a copy of the receipt to Reimbursement, reimbursement@ausdk12.org electronically. Receipts can be submitted in batches or all at once. You may make a copy of the receipt for personal recordkeeping.

  2. Reimbursement checks are issued monthly and will be mailed directly to your home.

  3. The deadline for submitting receipts is Friday, December 18, 2020.

Orders placed during Distance Learning may be shipped to a residential address.

 

Email Best Practices

Students are overwhelmed by their email inboxes during our campus closure. In addition to the usual announcements and messages, they now have to sort and organize assignments, Zoom codes, Google Classroom updates and more. Please consider some email best practices for yourself and your students.
