General

• Every Wednesday and Friday of Black history month BSU will be reading a poem/composition by a student, faculty, or black artist. The link to submit a poem will be in the BSU instagram!

• Students (especially Seniors) - there are still overdue textbooks from last school year (2020-21). Notices will be going out next week. Please look for overdue textbooks and bring them to the Book Room or Book Room drop box!

Clubs

• Best Buddies has a meeting today at lunch! Meet at the median.

Sports

• Today Feb 3, Thursday, at 3pm is the last day to register for Spring Sports-- Baseball, Boys Golf, Softball, Swimming, Boys Tennis, and Track & Field. https://www.familyid.com/albany-high-school/albany-high-school-2022-spring-athletics-registration

• Tryouts for Spring Sports Begin Next Week! Be sure you are registered. JV/Varsity Softball meet at 4pm beginning Monday. Baseball tryouts after school Monday and Tuesday. Swim workouts begin at the pool on Monday. Tennis begins Monday on the courts, and Golf will begin Tuesday at Tilden.

• Come cheer on our Girls & Boys Varsity soccer teams this today Thursday, for playoff games at Cougar Field! Girls play at 4pm, and Boys celebrate Senior Night at 6pm vs De Anza.
