Daily Bulletin – May 9, 2022

General

• Congratulations to Skya Dietz and Arianna Eduardo-Hernadez for winning awards in the 2022 National Spanish Exam Contest. Skya won a gold medal with her total score of 98% and Arianna won a silver one for earning 87% on the challenging exam. ¡Felicidades a las dos! =)

Clubs

• The award winning Albany Dance Company is looking for new members for the next school year! If you like to dance and perform and are willing to work hard while having fun, come see what ADC is all about. Auditions will be today and tomorrow from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm in the Multipurpose room.

• Peer Help Applications are now available and due Thursday, May 12th. We are looking for 9th and 10 grade applicants. An email regarding the application process was emailed by Mrs. Grogans. Please see her for any questions.

• This Tuesday, May 10, there will be a bake sale to fundraise for our school’s swim team, so be sure to bring a few dollars to support and get your hands on some goodies!

Sports

• Senior athletes: Next Thursday is our Cougar Celebration at 7pm in the gym. If you are playing sports in college please email Mr. Treseler or leave him a note in the front office so we can recognize your accomplishment. Please include your name, sport, and college destination

• For spring sports covid testing this week-- only teams and athletes participating in playoffs need to do testing. We will only have testing on Tuesdays at lunch during the postseason.
