General

• Volunteer Opportunity- the Albany Preschool Spring Fair has been rescheduled to Saturday May 14 and is looking for volunteers to help run games, sell tickets, etc. Shifts are 2 hours. Are you interested? Please see or contact Ms. Durell in the Counseling office.

• Don't miss the AHS Dance Department's Spring Dance Concert "Shine On!" Thursday, April 28 at 7 pm and Friday, April 29 at 6:00 and 8:15 pm in the Little Theater. Tickets are $5 for students and AHS Staff, and $10 for adults. See posters for QR code link to purchase tickets or email Mrs. Baker.

Clubs

• The Chinese American Citizens League Oakland Lodge Scholarship application is available for pick up in the Counseling Office. Applications are due May 13 for this $1,000 scholarship. Please contact Ms. Durell if you have any questions.

• Hey 9-11th graders! Interested in taking a class at Contra Costa community college this summer? CCC will be hosting a two part workshop in on Wednesday 5/4 & 5/18 during Advisory in the Library. Space is limited. Google sign up form was emailed to you Thursday.

Sports

• Swim team excuse all day.

• Varsity and JV Softball early release at 2:30pm

• JV Baseball early release at 2:30

• Varsity Baseball early release at 2:00pm
