General

• Tonight is 11th grade parent/student evening presentation from 7pm to 8:30pm. You may find the zoom link in your school email or parent square post sent on April 22nd.

• Don't miss the AHS Dance Department's Spring Dance Concert "Shine On!" Thursday, April 28 at 7 pm and Friday, April 29 at 6:00 and 8:15 pm in the Little Theater. Tickets are $5 for students and AHS Staff, and $10 for adults. See posters for QR code link to purchase tickets or email Mrs. Baker.

• Candidates Forum will be today at lunch in front of the school. Stop on by so you can get to know your class candidates, ask them questions , figure out who you should vote for. Voting will be online starting on Friday 4/29 until 4pm on Sunday 5/1.

College

• Seniors- the Deadline for the Dorothy and Joseph Villa Rotary Scholarship has been extended until May 1st- They have reached out asking for applicants from Albany High- Get your applications in! Applications are available in the counseling office.

Clubs

• Teen Advisory Group (TAG) for Albany Public Library needs you. TAG members advise the library on new teen books, movies, new programs and services. If you are interested, register at aclibrary.org Check out the flier by the attendance office.

• Bake For Charity is hosting a bake sale today after school in front of the art building. All proceeds will go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

• Key Club will be hosting a donut sale after school on Thursday in front of the art building! Come by and purchase a couple vanilla, maple, ube, or glazed donuts for $2 each! All proceeds from the sale will go to a student mental health charity.

Sports

• Varsity & JV Softball early release at 2:15pm

• JV Baseball early release at 2pm

• Varsity Baseball early release at 2:30pm
