General

• SENIORS!!! Last chance to be represented in the senior stats and to vote for superlatives. Forms will close at the end of the school day on Friday. Quotes due Sunday.

• The Albany Choirs Vocal Showcase is happening this Thursday, February 6th at 7 pm in the Little Theater. Come and support your friends in the middle and high school choir programs!

• Have some old clothes you wanna get rid of? Thrifty Thursday is this Thursday in the atrium at lunch. Bring your old clothes to swap with your friends!

• The Book Room will be closed today from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Textbooks and club meeting minutes can be left in Ms. Pope's inbox in the Main Office.

• Attention Creative Cougars: Make a Public Service Announcement for the Alameda County Office of Education and you could win $1500! The deadline is this month. For details visit acoe.org/census.

College

• Humboldt State University will be on campus tomorrow morning in the Counseling Department Conference Room. View details on the AHS website in the General Events calendar. Then register through Naviance. Space is limited, so sign up soon!

Clubs and Teams

• ALL SPRING ATHLETES! Softball, baseball, golf, tennis, track and swimming- you MUST be signed up via the Family ID website by tomorrow to be cleared to try out on Monday. Please remind your parents to take care of this important step!

• Shout out to the Lady Cougar soccer squad on a great season! Albany hosts a first round playoff match at 6pm tomorrow night at Cougar Field. Come out and support this awesome team!

• Softball Players: voluntary conditioning continues this week. Tryouts begin Monday at 4pm at Cougar Field and continue through next Thursday.
