General

• Starting this week (9/16) Mr Janinis will be doing Badminton on Monday & Friday's, and Basketball on Wednesday's in the gym during lunch.

• Attention Juniors and Seniors: Would you like to go to Washington DC this spring? If so, please come to a lunch meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17th in Room M4, or talk with Ms. Hudson or Ms. Lau-Seim for more details. Bring your lunch and bring a friend!

• School pictures ready to be picked up in the attendance office at lunch and afterschool this week.

• Come dance with us! Familias Latinas de Albany will be at Music in the Park on September 25th for the final performance of the year, featuring La Misa Negra’s Heavyweight Cumbia and high-energy, Afro-Latin music. We’ll have information about our plans for the 2019-2020 school year, as we look forward to sharing our heritage and culture with our neighbors in Albany.

• 12th Grade College Application Night is this Wednesday Sept 18th. From 7pm to 9pm in the little theater.

Clubs and Teams

• Come by and try your hand at wrestling! Pre-season practices are Mondays from 4-6, and Wednesday from 3-5. Meet in the wrestling room!

• This Tuesday September 17th a speaker from the Youth versus Apocalypse organization is coming to present in room 109A at lunch. Please come to hear information about the San Francisco Climate Strike, and more about environmentalism!!

• Science Olympiad will be meeting after school today in room 303 to talk about this year's Science Olympiad season! If you like any form of science or engineering, you will love Science Olympiad! If you are interested in joining, please come to this meeting after school today.
