General

• Seniors: The Senior trip to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is Friday, May 24. Pick up a permission slip in the attendance office and return it by Wednesday, May 8 to reserve your spot. Cost is $60 and all students must ride the bus to attend.

• Seniors: Please check with the library, bookroom, and athletic director to see if you have any outstanding fines to clear.

• Come one, come all to meeting for those joining Trip to Europe 2020. Monday at lunch with Ms. DeHart in Room 215.

• Did you enjoy IHS freshman year? Do you like helping people and educating your peers? Then peer help may be for you! Applications to join the 2019-2020 peer help group are now available in the counseling office for freshman and sophomores and they are due Friday, May 10th.

College and Career

• Senior Scholarship Opportunity- for a student with a 3.0+ GPA and demonstrating financial need- the AEG Oakland scholarship application is available in the counseling office and on the AHS website- deadline is 5/17.

• AP Exams begin today! Testers should go to their designated testing location after 4th period. You will need the signed paid Confirmation form and your Student ID to enter the exam room. Don't be late or you will not be admitted. For all exams, be sure to bring the necessary testing items allowed for your test such as: pencils, pens, rulers, calculators. (See the AP Bulletin for your specific requirements.) Do not bring your cell phone, watch, or any other gadget. Good luck!!
