General

• Represent your class and show some spirit! The AHS Business class is hosting a tie-dye event Tues Oct 8 at Memorial Park. Bring $5 to enter and $2 to buy a shirt. bring a friend for a special discount.

• There will be a Homecoming store from October 9th to October 17th in the gym lobby at lunch, and in front of the art building after school. Come represent your grade and show your school spirit.

• Interested in seeing five plays in three days? Come to an information meeting for the annual Ashland field trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival to learn how to sign up. Meetings are Monday and Tuesday at lunch in 109A.

• Calling all students for the trip to Europe in February 2020. Sign ups are only available until October 15. Be the next to commit. Meeting Lunch Tuesday (Oct 8) Room 215.

• Spanish Language Hour--Get extra help in Spanish after school on Mondays, 3:30-4:30 in Room 213 or on Fridays, 2:45-3:45, in Room 211. All students and levels welcome. Nos vemos!

College and Career

• In this week's college visit line-up we'll have: Humboldt State, UC San Diego, Soka University, DePaul University, Western Oregon, Brown University, Merrimack College, Harvey Mudd, and Loyola Marymount. • Attn: Jrs. & Srs. - A representative from the District Attorney's Justice Academy will be holding an info session this week. DAJA is a great opportunity for those interested in pursuing the study of politics, social justice, law and the justice system. See your counselor or Ms. Parrott to sign-up.
