• The AHS Library will have shortened hours during finals week. The library will be open for 2 hours after school for studying. We wil be open from 7:40- 3pm Tuesday through Thursday. We will open from 7:40 – 1pm on Friday.

• Spring Schedule Changes

  • Petition to drop a course for 2nd semester must pick up a form in counseling office starting Friday Jan 18th.

  • Student most complete form with parent signature and bring it back to counseling office on Tuesday January 22nd or Wednesday January 23rd from 1:15pm to 2:15pm.

• Please help support the City of Albany & T.U.P.E to stop the sale of flavored tobacco products. Pick up a postcard at the T.U.P.E. table in the atrium at lunch and help keep teens healthy. Shout out to Ms. Lau-Seim for designing the post card.

• Seniors: Please make sure that you verify your spelling of your name for your diploma in Advisory this week, There will be no changes made after this week.

• Seniors! Senior panoramic retake day will be Wednesday February 6th during advisory. Please report to the gym during that time.

• Don't miss the AHS Dance Department's Winter Showcase Thursday, January 17 at 7 pm and Friday, January 18 at 6:00 and 8:15 pm in the Little Theater. Come support your favorite dancers from Dance 1, Dance 2, Albany Hip Hop Crew and Albany Dance Company, . $5 donation appreciated.

College and Career

• Math Hour is cancelled for Finals week! Speak with your math teacher about when you can get extra help ASAP!

• If you're looking for a summer job in the great outdoors, then East Bay Parks may be the place for you. Get more information about available positions at their Job Fair next weekend. Visit ebparks.org for more information.

• Best Buddies Meeting will be held on Thursday, 1/17 during lunch in Room 219.

• AHS Girl’s Soccer Senior Night is Thursday at 5:40pm at Cougar before their final home game v Pinole Valley-Please come out to cheer on our seniors!
