• Free math tutoring after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in room 311. An AHS math teacher will be available for an hour after school.

• It’s the final call for all students interested in joining the group touring Italy in 2019. Please see Ms. DeHart in room 215 for details. Sign ups end October 15th.

• CIEE Global Navigator Scholarships for Summer Study Abroad! Informational meetings for students and parents in the library on Thursday, October 11, at 4pm & 6:30 pm. Albany students are guaranteed at least $50,000 in scholarships, so come to a meeting to get details

College and Career

• PSAT online registration is CLOSED! Payments can be made in the book room with Ms. Pope until Tuesday 10/9 at 1:30pm

• In today's college visit line-up we have: Grinnell College, University of Redlands and the University of British Columbia. For details go to the AHS online calendar. Sign-up to attend the info session(s) in Naviance.

• Attention college-bound Seniors! This week, we will be hosting a financial aid workshop to help you complete the FAFSA or CADAA. In order to attend, you must sign-up at bit.ly/C4C1819. Space is limited, so sign-up today!

• Seniors need help with your University of California (UC) application. Please come to the UC application help tips on Wednesday Oct 10th at lunch in the little theater. Counselor's will be going over the application process and helpful tips for filling it out!

• Interested in a fun way to get educated about tobacco use? Join T.U.P.E (Toopee). See Ms. Josette for details.

• Come join National Honor society in Room 213 and share any experience with bullying that you’re comfortable sharing in honor of National Bullying Awareness Month.
