Block A Schedule

General

• Back to School Night is this Wednesday from 7pm – 9pm. Students will fill out schedules in Wednesday advisory and take them home for their parents.

College and Career

• Attention Seniors: Our annual College Application Information Night is scheduled for Monday, September 18th at 7:00pm – 8:30pm in the Little Theater. Counselors will be presenting an overview of the application processes for 4-year college bound students. We look forward to seeing you there!
• In this week’s college visit line-up we have: Evergreen State College & Vanderbilt University today, UCLA on Wednesday, UC Berkeley on Thursday, and University of  Puget Sound on Friday. Next week we welcome Academy of Art, Fidm, Scripps, & Clark. Come visit with the person who may be reading your application…Space is limited so sign-up today!

Clubs and Teams

• Hey Sophomores! There will be a Lipsync meeting this Thursday and a Decorations meeting this Friday, both in Room 212.
• Hey freshman! There will be a mandatory Lipsync meeting today in Room 308. We will talk about important dates, practice times, and our song lineup. If you really can’t go, please let Chloe Park know as soon as possible.
• Looking for something sweet to power through the week? Come to the bake sale after school!
• Make sure to stop by the BuildOn booth at club rush and come to our first meeting on Thursday at lunch in room 206!
• One Heart Christian Club invites you to their first meeting of the year this Thursday during lunch in room 211! All are welcome!
• Are you interested in empowering yourself and you younger peers to create change in Albany schools? Come to the Speak informational meeting on Friday at lunch in Room M1. There will be snacks!
