General

  • This Saturday 10/3, the PTSA Prom Closet is organizing a FREE Hoco dresses giveaway. Where: Prom Closet will have a booth at Bon Marché 2nd Hand Market, 1251 Solano ave, Albany When: Saturday 10/3, from 11am to 4pm. It's free for Albany high students! Just bring your student ID. We will also collect prom attire donations. See you on Saturday!

  • Over the past year, Albany USD has been developing a Facilities Master Plan that creates a long-term vision for upgrades to campuses throughout the district. Join District staff and the project architects at Community Open House for AUSD's Facilities Master Plan October 7, 6:00-7:30 p.m.at Ocean View Elementary Library.  Check ParentSquare for the registration link. 

  • Are you a senior looking for a free adventure to another state this summer? Come hear more at the American Exchange Project info meeting in room 309 at lunch on Friday. The first 15 students to arrive will get pizza! 

Clubs

  • Consider the Homeless will be having it's first meeting 10/5 during lunch in the front of the school. Come join us to get to know what we do as a club. 

  • Best Buddies will be meeting today at Memorial Park by the tennis courts during lunch. Come make new friends and have fun! 

  • UNICEF Club will be meeting today at lunch in Room 302! Stop by our club meeting to learn about upcoming events & enjoy some snacks! 

College

  • Seniors is your college deadline after Dec 1st? Then your Counselor Letter of Rec Brag sheet is due this Friday October 2nd by 10pm. Stop by counseling office if you have any questions. 

  • Mount Holyoke College is visiting this Friday Oct. 2nd during Advisory in the Library! Learn about this gender-diverse women’s college in Massachusetts, with a strong liberal arts focus and opportunities for research. 

Sports

  • Girls Golf, early release at 2:10 pm  

 

  • Cross Country, early release at 2:30 pm 


  • Girls Tennis, early release at 2:30 pm
