• Reminder for students who love the arts: Enter the National PTA’s annual arts contest, Reflections. This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me”. Deadline is Oct. 12; find out more at https://tinyurl.com/AHSReflections2026. 

• The 2027 CIEE Scholarship & Summer Abroad Meetings are this Friday, 4pm & 6pm in the AHS Library. Students & parents welcome! Win a part of $50,000 in scholarships to study languages, arts, STEM, business, robotics, dance and more in Europe, Asia, Africa or Mexico!

• Interested in fashion, journalism, or photography? The Prima Donna fashion magazine is having their first meeting on Tuesday, September 22nd at lunch in room A-204, see you there!!

• Seniors! Working on your UC applications? Need help with your PIQs? Join a PIQ Writing Workshop led by a UC Berkeley admissions representative on Tuesday, Sept. 22 during lunch in the Little Theater. Bring your questions and get tips to strengthen your essays!
