Tuesday, Block A Schedule

 General


  • Volunteer at Ocean View Elementary’s Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 3rd! Help with games, activities, concessions & more. Shifts are 1–2 hours. Great way for Albany High students to earn community service hours! Sign up here.  

  • Math Hour will be open for business starting today Tuesday 8/25 after school! Look for fliers or ask your math teachers for more info! 

  • Juniors, tomorrow 8/26, is your locker day. Come to the Bookroom Roll-up window with your locker buddy and your previous year’s school ID or another Identification card. 9th and 10th graders see you on your designated day with your buddy and ID! 

College

  • College Reps Visits will start next week. Check the AHS Counseling Website under "College and Career" to see which schools will be here. Sign up to receive an advisory pass or lunch time reminder. https://forms.gle/UCYz4i1HfBHM2QrR6 

Club

  • Club Presidents or someone who is interested in creating a club? A MANDATORY Presidents’ Meeting on Wed, Aug 26th, in the LT at Lunch. Details on how to start/renew a club will be covered, as well as more information about Club Rush! Questions, email Ann Wang ( Leadership Club/Arts Commissioner)  

  • The AHS Model UN Club will meet Wednesday, August 26, at lunch in Room C-202. 

Sports

  • Did you know that Albany High School won a national championship last year?  The reigning NATIONAL champion Albany Ultimate Frisbee team has their opening practice today, Tuesday August 25th, at Cougar field from 5-8 PM. No experience necessary to play! See ya there!
