Wednesday, Block  B Schedule

 General


  • Picture Day is today, Wednesday, August 19th, during 4th period. We will have a special schedule, with 4th period extended so teachers can bring their classes to the Gym. There will be no Advisory, and school ends at 2:45. Students who do not have 4th period will need to come to the Gym during that time. 

  • There will be no Ask A Counselor during the advisory this week. It will start up again the week of August 24. Until then, please keep bringing your questions to the counseling office at break or lunch! 

  • The Aquatic Center is hiring!!! Lifeguards, Swim Instructors!!! Go to albanyAquaticCenter.com 

  • Are you ready to get a locker? Come to the Book Room roll up window next week: Seniors - Tues: 8/25, Juniors- Wed 8/26; Frosh/Soph: Thurs 8/27 and Fri 8/28 during lunch only. Everyone please bring your previous year’s school ID or another Identification card. 

College

  • College representatives will be visiting AHS soon! Come learn more about their schools, programs, admissions, and campus life- and get your questions answered directly. Clubs

  • The AHS Model UN Club will hold its first meeting of the year at lunch on Wednesday, August 19, in Room C-202. New and returning members are encouraged to attend!
