Join PTSA at Albany High School!

Dear AHS Parents and Guardians,

Albany High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) welcomes you to a new school year! We hope you will renew your membership for the year or sign up for the first time. Help us meet our membership goal of 25% of AHS families.

We also want to invite you to our first meeting of the school year—right before Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 in the AHS Library.

We invite all of you to become part of the Albany High School PTSA. Parents, guardians, students, teachers, administrators, staff, and community members are all welcome. Joining the PTSA is a great way to support our school and our kids. Money raised from PTSA memberships and fundraising events goes directly to programs benefiting our school and students—awards to student clubs, grants to teachers for special classroom activities, teacher and staff appreciation events, graduation and senior celebrations, and more. 

Why you should join the PTSA:

• Your membership dues go to support teachers’ and students’ activities

• Share your skills and ideas with others for the benefit of our children and school

• Meet other families to volunteer and celebrate together

• Support student activities and teacher projects

• Hear from the school administration and about school events at PTSA meetings

• Learn about things like college counseling, course selection,

Our meetings are generally the first Monday of the month in the Albany High School library. We try to keep families informed and offer programs to educate our school community on important topics. We hope that you can join us, and we look forward to meeting you all at some of our meetings and events.
