Alliance for Girls Mental Health & Safety Study
This youth-led research study centers the voices of girls and gender-expansive youth, especially those of color, ages 14-24 located anywhere in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties, to better understand how they define and experience mental health, safety, belonging and well-being in their daily lives. We hope to reach as many girls and gender-expansive youth as possible so that the voices of youth in these communities are included in policy, budget, and programming recommendations that will be shared with key decision-makers and policy-makers.
