 General

• Senior graduation tickets/wristbands are ready for pickup. Please ensure you have some form of ID for verification.  The last day for pick up is today Wednesday, May 20th outside the bookroom during lunch only. 

• Congratulations to junior Jasmine L on receiving the 2026 Albany Chamber of Commerce and City of Albany's Youth of the Year. The award is granted to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, excel academically, and show a dedicated commitment to improving our community. Go Jasmine! 

• Conexion Latina will be holding leadership elections today Wednesday at lunch in A-106.  Join us if you are interested in being in the group next year and possible joining leadership.  Lunch will be provided.  

• Seniors: counselors will send final transcripts to the college you listed in your Senior Exit Survey, which was completed in Econ classes earlier this month. If you have not completed this survey, DO IT! Check with your counselor or econ teacher for directions. 

• Rising Juniors enrolled in English 3 Honors must attend one of the three summer homework meetings this week. The times and dates are: this Thursday, May 21 at the beginning of lunch, this Thursday, May 21 after school and this Friday, May 22 after school in Mr. Neilson's room, C-101. 

• Enrollment is now open for EF Tours Belize spring break trip 2027! Get the best possible price from now until the end of the month. www.eftours.com/3074905WB See Ms. Ponce-Larsen for more details. 

• AP Spanish Summer Homework Packets will be handed out in Spanish 4 by Ms Ortega this week. Students who are not currently enrolled in Spanish 4 should stop by Rm 213 to pick up a packet from Profe. Homework will be due in class on August 12. Buena suerte. 

Clubs

• The AHS Model UN Club will meet today Wednesday, May 20, at lunch in Room C-202. Senior Club members are particularly invited to attend. 

Sports

• Flag football will have a meeting this Thursday during lunch in room S3

• Big Congrats to the Cougar baseball team for securing the #2 seed in the NCS tournament! Albany faces Jesse Bethel at 5pm today in Round One. . . come out and cheer!
