Looking to reward yourself after a week of AP tests? Stop by the Venture business class Spring Marketplace this Friday after 6th period in front of A and B building and purchase a selection of handcrafted packaged baked goods and gifts just in time for Mother's Day.
Calling all dancers! Albany Dance Company is holding auditions for new members next Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:10 pm to 6 pm in the MPR. See Mrs. Baker for more info!
Congratulations to Skylar O. and Isaac G. for winning second and third place, respectively, in the 2026 El Cerrito Trail Trekkers' Haiku Contest. Both students received certificates, gift cards, and publication of their poems. Yay!
Shoutouts to Elsa N-S and Skylar O for winning first place awards in the Dolores Huerta Essay Contest! Both students received $550 and certificates for their fine work. Isaac G also received a certificate for his strong essay. Please congratulate them when you see them on campus.
Thirteen terrific Spanish won medals and certificates in the 2026 National Spanish Exam Contest. Awards went to Jocelyn C, Megan K, Leonie B, Murilo P, Maya M-F,, Victor T, Isaac G, Serena S-G, Manuel H, Nate U, Matthew T, and Andrew L. Kudos to all these amazing scholars!
