Wednesday B Schedule

General    

• AHS food service will be providing an additional line for break and lunch at the Snack Shack in the Gym Lobby. All of the regular breakfast items will be available, and lunch will be quick grab-and-go salads, sandwiches, pizza, and served with fruit and milk. 

• The library will be closed during advisory this week, and will be closed during lunch for the rest of the week, due to Freshmen Forum class visits. Again, the library will be closed for advisory and lunch for the rest of this week. Sorry for the inconvenience!

• Valentine's Grams are on sale starting today, Wednesday, January 28th! Come see us in the atrium to get a singing card for your friend! We take cash, credit, or ApplePay!

• Seniors: LAST CHANCE to order Class of 2026 Senior Panoramic Pictures taken January 14th! Bring $24 cash or check payable to Lifetouch to Ms. Pope in the AHS Bookroom by Friday, February 13th 3:00 pm. This is the last time the school can do a bulk order.

College

• The Berkeley Kiwanis Club Scholarship application is available for pick up in the counseling office. Scholarships range from $500- $10,000- It is due via email on March 5, 2026

• Seniors - Are you planning SF State next year? With a major in Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry? You could receive a full tuition scholarship and a $4700 stipend thru the SFSU Genetech Foundation Scholarship- App is due March 31st. Clubs

• The AHS Model UN Club will meet today, Wednesday, at lunch in Room C-202.

• Hungry after school? Come support AHS Climbing Club's bake sale today after school in front of the art building. We'll have brownies, cookies, mochi cakes, and more!

• AHS Leadership is holding a coed 2v2 Volleyball tournament, open to both students and staff. Entry tickets will be sold from 2/2-2/6 in the atrium for $7 a person at lunch. CASH ONLY! The tournament will be from 2/9-2/13 in the gym at lunch. There’ll be cash prizes!

Sports

• Wrestling (ALL) early release at 2:00 pm

• Girls Flag Football meeting will be today, Wednesday, at lunchtime in S3 GO Cougars

• COUGAR SOFTBALL! Coach Kaitlyn is holding a voluntary open field workout today at Cougar Field beginning at 3:30! Come out and begin preparing for the spring season. Don't forget to complete online registration- Tryouts for spring sports begin Feb 9, 2026
