General        

• English Hour is happening today in the Library Computer Lab from 4-5 PM. Come by to get help on an English assignment from an English teacher.

• Attention to TEACHERS & Students of TEACHERS- The California Teachers Association (CTA- the Teacher Union) has numerous scholarships available to its members & children of its members- make sure to review their website and apply! https://www.cta.org/for-educators/scholarships-awards/cta-scholarships

College

• The California Interscholastic Foundation (CIF) Scholarship application is available and due March 2nd. Senior Student Athletes- apply today! https://www.cifstate.org/parents-students/awards_and_scholarships/scholar-athlete

Clubs

• The AHS Climbing Club will meet today, at lunch in Room 306. Join us to find out about our next club trip. New members are welcome, no experience is needed!

Sports

• Boys JV Soccer, early release at  2:35 pm

• Come support the boys soccer game tonight at home vs Saint Mary’s. JV kick off is at 4pm, and varsity kick off is at 6pm. See you there! 

• Huge Congrats to Cougar boys soccer for their incredible 3-2 victory over Richmond Tuesday, giving them first place in TCAL. Albany remains undefeated and is ranked #69 in the state! Don't miss SENIOR NIGHT for this amazing team tonight at Cougar Field. Celebration begins at 6:30! Co Cougs!

• Swimmers- Be sure to attend an important organizational meeting on the pool deck Friday at 12;45. Meet the coach and get all the important info as we begin a great 2026 season of Cougar Swimming! Be sure you are officially registered. . . and see you there!
