General                  

• The Jewish Parent Engagement (JPE) committee warmly invites you to join us for our Hanukkah Celebration on Friday, December 12, 5:00–7:30 pm in the AMS gymnasium. The evening will include a potluck, music, games, Shabbat and Hanukkah candle lighting, and plenty of opportunities to gather in joy. All are welcome.

• First Ever AUSD Winter Wonderland Potluck! Everyone is welcome to a community-wide celebration of winter holidays on Sunday, December 14, 4:30–6:30 pm in Ocean View’s MPR. Ocean View’s PTA is working alongside all of AUSD's parent engagement groups to deliver a festive end-of-the-year celebration! Through this event, we hope to highlight the diversity in our community and learn more about how various groups in our community celebrate holidays during winter break.

College

• Did you miss Contra Costa College last week? CCC will be back on campus this Friday, 12/12, during Advisory, in the Atrium. Bring your questions about concurrent enrollment or enrolling in CCC after you graduate.

Clubs

• The AHS Model UN Club will meet on Wednesday, December 10, at lunch in Room C-202.

• Craving something sweet? Stop by Class of '27's holiday bake sale tomorrow, Wednesday, 12/10, after school in front of the art building. We'll have brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and more!

Sports

• Track and Field meeting today after school for new members, team captains, and anybody with questions or concerns. Please meet in the alleyway between the Gym and the baseball field.

• Girls JV Soccer, early release at 2:30 pm

• Girls Varsity Soccer, early release at 3:20 pm
