General   

• AP exam registration deadline is Fri, Oct 31. Make sure you complete your payment on MySchoolBucks and enter your course join code into AP Classroom. Late fees apply after Fri. Refer to the instructions in the email from Ms Lau Seim. Questions? Ask Ms Cajina.

• Poetry Out Loud is coming to Albany High School! Join us for the first informational meeting today in the library at lunch to learn more about how you can compete. Come find your voice — and bring poetry off the page!

• Come by the library to see our Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) altar! Día de los Muertos is a Mexican tradition that celebrates and honors the lives of loved ones who have passed away. We invite you to bring photos or small items to place on the altar as we remember and celebrate together.

College

• Seniors, join us for 12th Grade Financial Aid Night! Get expert guidance & answers to your questions. It will be held on Wed, Nov 5, 7–8 PM via Zoom. Link sent to all 12th-grade families on Oct 28.

Sports

• Attention Boys Soccer! Your first day of tryouts is now MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd. Meet at 4:20 at Cougar Field. Remember, you need to be registered to tryout.   

• Winter Athletes! You must be registered and cleared in order to tryout for basketball, soccer, and wrestling next week! This includes a doctor's physical. Registration closes at NOON tomorrow. Tryouts begin next week- check with your coach for more details!

• Girls tennis, early release at 2:30 pm
