General

  • Due to the Veterans Day Holiday we will have a modified schedule.

Monday, Nov 9 - Block B schedule

Tuesday, Nov 10 - Block A schedule

Wednesday, Nov 11 - No School (Veterans Day)

Thursday, Nov 12 - Block A schedule

Friday, Nov 13 - Block B schedule

Clubs

  • The AHS Climbing Club will meet today, at lunch in Room C-202. Join us to find out about our next climbing trip. Bring your friends, no experience is needed! 

  • LGBTQ & Questioning weekly therapy group is forming. Explore identity and build community. Let your counselor know if you would like to join the group or email pgreenwood@ausdk12.org. 


College

  • Contra Costa College will be in the library during lunch Tuesday Nov. 10. Come learn about the community college application process and dual enrollment. 

Sports 

  • Girls Basketball! Next practice for the JV basketball team is Monday night at 7:45 in the gym. All 9th, 10th and 11th graders are welcome and can still register. Come out and hoop it up! 

  • Congrats to the Cougar girls' tennis team! Albany rolled to an undefeated record in TCAL, then dominated the individual championships. Erlina Ho won the league singles championship yesterday, and Lucy Wu and Emiko Chan brought home the TCAL doubles title. Way to make us proud Cougars!
