General

  • The counseling interns are hosting a therapy group is for students who identify as mixed race on Fridays during advisory. This is a space to share our experiences, explore our identities, and connect with others mixed-race folks. Please check Parent Square and use the link to let us know you're interested.

  • AP exam registration & payment window ends on Oct 30. After this date, there is a $40 late fee per exam. Don't waste your money! Make your exam payments on My School Bucks before this Friday. Registration details were sent to your school email. 

  • Attention! Voting is now open and will close 7 days from today! Get your ballot in now! 16 and 17 year-olds can now vote for school board. 

  • Join us in celebrating Dia de los Muertos on Wednesday during lunch in the atrium. You can bring a picture of a loved one or pet that has passed to add to the altar. Familias Latinas will be hosting craft tables where you can make paper marigolds or paint picture frames for our community altar. 

Clubs

  • Want to gain leadership experience and be part of service projects for your community? Join Leo Club!! We meet every other Tuesday in room A209. We're having a meeting today, so be sure to come. 

  • The AHS Model UN Club will meet Wednesday, October 28, at lunch in Room C-202. Fall Berkeley Model UN delegates should plan to attend the meeting. 

  • Join Conexión Latina Club this Wednesday, October 28! During lunch in the AHS Atrium we will be having our Día de los Muertos Craft Event to make paper marigolds, paint frames, and enjoy pan dulce while celebrating Dia de Los Muertos. 

Sports

  • Great job Cougar Volleyball! Albany has been selected to participate in the NCS Division I volleyball tournament. The Cougs begin play tonight with a first round matchup at California High School in San Ramon. Match begins at 7pm.
