Tuesday A  Schedule

 General

• Senior graduation tickets/wristbands are ready for pickup. Please ensure you have some form of ID for verification. Pickup will be outside the bookroom during lunch only, starting Monday, May 18th through Wednesday, May 20th. 

• Invite your friends and family for an evening celebrating the creativity, talent, and hard work of Albany High School student artists on May 19th from 4-7pm.The show will include photography, graphic design, drawing, painting, and ceramics created by students in grades 9-12. All are welcome!

• Students enrolled in AP Bio next year. Check your school email about our meetings this Wed5/20 or next Wed5/27 @ lunch in rm 302. Attendance is required at ONE of these meetings. You will get your summer homework. This meeting is one of the requirements for staying enrolled in the course. See email. 

• Today is the Art Show! Invite your friends and family for an evening celebrating the creativity, talent, and hard work of AHS student artists today from 4-7pm.The show will include photography, graphic design, drawing, painting, and ceramics created by students in grades 9-12. All are welcome! 

• Congratulations to junior Jasmine L on receiving the 2026 Albany Chamber of Commerce and City of Albany's Youth of the Year. The award is granted to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, excel academically, and show a dedicated commitment to improving our community. Go Jasmine! 

Clubs

• The AHS Model UN Club will meet Wednesday, May 20, at lunch in Room C-202. Senior Club members are particularly invited to attend. 

Sports

• Boys Basketball please attend a mandatory meeting Tuesday at lunch in room 214 to discuss summer activities. The meeting will begin at 12:05 sharp. Bring your lunch. 

• Flag football will have a meeting this Thursday during lunch in room S3

• Big Congrats to the Cougar baseball team for securing the #2 seed in the NCS tournament! Albany faces Jesse Bethel at 5pm tomorrow in Round One. . . come out and cheer!
