Asian Pacific Islander Parent Engagement Group Survey and Meeting
The AUSD Asian Pacific Islander Parent Engagement Group (API-PEG) invites families to join us to celebrate and promote the interests of API students and families. Our focus will be on advocating on matters that impact the API community, building community and resources, and supporting other groups with shared interests. Please share your interests and experiences with us in our survey to help inform our work. Join us at our next meeting on Wednesday, March 31st at 7pm. Zoom link is forthcoming.

Tired of cooking the same old dinners? Want to spice up online learning with a surprise hot lunch for your kids? Buy lunch for your "office"? This Tuesday, October 13th, the PTSA is having a fundraiser with Zachary's on Solano Ave.. Please bring in the coupon below or show it to them on your phone when you pay for your take out! Frustrated with Distance Learning? - Townhall by Disability Rights CA this week!
The Disability Rights CA (DRC) is holding a series of townhall meetings for parents and families of students with disabilities regarding distance learning education in multiple languages and it is free, but participants must register. Please pass this info along, especially to those for whom English is not their 1st language.

Celebrating the Class of 2020
The PTSA wants to let the AHS community know that it has ordered yard signs for senior families and a drive-by pick up date will be set-up sometime in mid-May. The administration is working on graduation plans and the PTSA will be focusing on creative ways to celebrate the senior class of 2020. We will need all hands on deck with celebrating the Class of 2020, albeit with a twist. Albany coming together for our kids is what we do and we'll be calling on you to make the graduating Class of 2020 feel special. Stay tuned for more updates, we hope you are well and hang in there everyone!

Newly-designed Albany Unified School District Apparel!
Apparel is back, and this year we will be highlighting a new design showcasing all of the schools in our district. Choose from two designs in a variety of styles. The store will be open from October 25 through November 22 and orders will be delivered to your school by your apparel representative. Sales will go towards supporting your school’s PTA, and there will only be two additional opportunities to purchase your school gear later this year.
