General
Students who took the PSAT in October need to stop by the attendance office to pick up their score report. They will only be passed out during break, lunch, and before/after school. You will NOT be able to get it during class time. Thank you.
Grateful Grams are back! Show appreciation this season by sending a personalized card and song for $4 or add a candy bag for $6. Stop by the atrium during lunch to purchase yours through next Tuesday—don’t miss your chance to be serenaded by life-size turkeys!
CIEE Summer Scholarships & $100,000 in Scholarships Info Meetings are TODAY, 4pm & 6pm in AHS Library. Parents & students welcome. Learn about scholarships to study marine biology, languages, business, engineering, leadership, art, or K-pop in Europe, Asia, Central & South America, Africa, or Mexico.
Clubs
Film club will be meeting during lunch in room 306. We will start watching Red, White, and Royal Blue! Bring your friends and enjoy the movie!
Learn how to suture! Today in room 302 at lunch, Global Medics will be teaching surgical stitches and knot tying. Practice closing wounds with real surgical needles!
Stop by Albany UNICEF's bake sale this weekend in front of the Abrams Claghorn Gallery on Solano! The gallery will be hosting a clothing & accessories pop-up market, and we'll be there selling holiday treats along with hot chocolate. College Rep from Washington State University will be here on Friday, 11/14, during lunch in the Counseling Office.
Berkeley City College will be on campus next Tuesday, 11/18, at Lunch in Room S3. This presentation is for students interested in Concurrent enrollment as well as Seniors interested in enrolling next Fall. Come meet BCC staff and get your questions answered! See you there! The Hagan Scholarship Application is open and due on December 1st. It is a need-based merit scholarship for a working student who plans to attend a 4-year college or university. More info on Xello, the scholarship board, and their website www.hsfmo.org
