General    

• Want to be the 2026 CLTA CIEE Student of the Year and win $5000 to study a world language this summer? See Profe in Room 213 and she will nominate YOU! All Albany students applying for a CIEE Language & Culture Program are eligible for this award, so stop by Rm 213 now.

• Come see the AHS Theatre Ensembles' fall play! It starts during the opening night of a play when the director drops dead! Tickets are only $4. The show runs Thursday through Saturday, and if you come to opening night or the Saturday matinee, you can bring a friend for FREE!

• Math Hour this week will be open Today, Thursday, after school.

• Students who took the PSAT in October need to stop by the attendance office to pick up their score report. They will only be passed out during break, lunch, and before/after school. You will NOT be able to get it during class time. Thank you.

• Grateful Grams are back! Show appreciation this season by sending a personalized card and song for $4 or add a candy bag for $6. Stop by the atrium during lunch to purchase yours through next Tuesday—don’t miss your chance to be serenaded by life-size turkeys!

Clubs

• Congratulations to the seven members of the AHS Model UN Club who won awards at last weekend's Fall 2025 Berkeley Model United Nations Conference.

College

• Berkeley Bay Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's 25-26 Scholarship application is now available. There is more information available in Xello, on a flyer outside the counseling office, or on their website! Apply today- the deadline is March 6th!

• Epsilon Phi Zeta Educational Foundation is offering $1,000 merit-based scholarships, and the application is open and due Jan. 16th. More information can be found on Xello, The Scholarship Board (outside the counseling office), or on their website www.zetaseastbay.org/foundation.html

• The Hagan Scholarship Application is open and due on December 1st. It is a need-based merit scholarship for a working student who plans to attend a 4-year college or university. More info on Xello, the scholarship board, and their website www.hsfmo.org
