Albany High has instituted an “honor roll” system.  To determine whether you have qualified for “Honor Roll” or “Principal’s List,” follow these steps:

  1. First, check the GPA (noted “TGPA”) following each semester on your transcript.

  2. For each semester with 3.0 to 3.49 GPA, you qualify for “Honor Roll.”

  3. For each semester with 3.5 GPA and above, you qualify for “Principal’s List.”

  4. You can list these designations, along with the number of semesters you qualified, in the “Honors” sections of college applications.

NOTE: your semester-by-semester GPA does NOT appear on the transcript you see on Aeries online.  The semester GPA DOES appear on the transcripts printed in the Counseling Office.

Every student will be provided with a printed copy of his/her transcript in the spring, during course selection time.  Seniors receive copies of their transcripts during presentations in September of senior year.  See your counselor or the Counseling Office secretary for more information about your honor roll status.
