  2. SENIORS:  a) Achievers will be in the gym snack bar during lunch to hand out graduation caps & gowns this Friday, 5/27. b)Tickets will be given out after school (6*) today at the outside bookroom window to any senior who doesn't have any fines or "in danger of D or F" on the progress report.  Must have picture ID to pick up tickets.  Extra tickets distribution has been postponed until Friday, 5/27 after school.  c) Seniors, if you would like to audition to give a speech at graduation, please submit your speech to Ms. Benau today.  d) Rep your college day is on Wednesday, June 1.  Show your college spirit and wear your college swag!
  3. Locker Clean Out - Extra trash cans will be available in the hallways from Friday, May 27 to Friday, June 3 for locker clean out. Students in ninth, tenth and eleventh grades will keep their lockers and may leave their locks on over the summer. Seniors must empty their lockers by Wednesday, June 8. They will be checked on June 9. Seniors may take their locks as a memento of their high school years. Senior belongings left in lockers will be discarded. If you have forgotten your combination, see Susan in the attendance office.
  4. AHS Vocal Music's Variety Shows Thursday and Friday, 7:00pm in the Little Theater! Music from the B52s, Earth Wind and Fire, Black Eyed Peas, and more! Seniors also presenting their final solos of the year, including "If I Ain't Got You", "Such Great Heights", and more!
  5. Attention all students who signed up to take AP Comparative Government/World Religions next year:  Meet Thursday, 5/26 at lunch in the Little Theater or Friday, 5/27 in Room 18.
  6. If you signed up for Honors English next year: You must attend one of these meetings on Thursday May 26 or Friday May 27 in room 214 at lunch.
  7. Prom Lost and Found - A few articles of clothing were found at the prom. Come to the Attendance Office to identify and claim your lost item.
  8. Attention recyclers:  thanks to all who bring in their used printer cartridges and cell phones throughout the year - Please do not bring in any more this school year, as we have no place to store them over the summer.  Save them up and bring them in once school starts again in August. To help us store and send them, please don't repack them in their cardboard boxes but leave them in any plastic wrap you have and bring them to us in a paper grocery bag or large box.
