Block B Schedule
  1. The lost and found will be donated to charity on November 4. Check in the attendance office for lost items.
  2. Make up photo packages are here. Pick them up in the attendance office.
  3. Do you enjoy being around the pool?  Swimming?  Working with kids?  Being a valuable asset to your community and school?  Then working at the Albany Aquatic Center is the perfect job for you!  You do not need any prior training or experience, although it is a plus. We will train upon hire and set you up to be a successful member of our team.  We are hiring for Swim instructors and Lifeguards right now.  Stop by the Aquatic Center and pick up an application; we look forward to meeting you!
  4. To students who purchased an Athletic Pass during Opening Day but didn't get it, please see Ms. Salas in the bookroom. Bring your receipt.
Important Homecoming Announcements
  1. Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Homecoming raffle!  Kassidy, Tenzing & Arriane will be extra set for tomorrow’s class color day and so will you after you get your spirit gear from the Venture Store!
  2. When was the last time you went to a haunted house?  How about a carnival?  Come to spooky, scary, Town of Terror on Saturday, October 25th, at Albany High to finish off a spectacular homecoming week!
  3. Dress up days are as follows:  Thursday – tropical day   Friday – red/white day.  If you dress up go to the front of the school during break and have your class advisor mark you down for spirit points.
  4. Donate your cans for homecoming points!  The Alameda County Food Bank will be holding the food drive from October 13 to October 24.
  5. Voting for Homecoming Court will take place over the school email.  Voting ends on Thursday night at 11:00pm.  If you dress up sign in with your class advisor at the front of the school for points.
  6. Join the AHS Choirs for the annual homecoming movie night on Thursday, 10/23.  There will be a sing-along showing of Mulan at 7:00pm in the Little Theater.  Admission is pay-what-you-want and all donations will benefit music at AHS!  Homecoming points will also be awarded for attendance.  See you there.
College and Career
  1. Interested in studying the arts while in college?  Then check out the Performing & Visual Arts College Fair happening in San Francisco on Sunday, October 26th.  Register at or take a look at the info. posted outside Counseling.
