Block B Schedule

  1. The Lost and Found will be donated on March 9. Come to the attendance office to check for lost items.
  2. ATTN SENIORS: During advisory on Friday you will be asked to verify the spelling of your name for your high school diploma. It is extremely important that you take this seriously as the computer does not always print your name the way it should appear on your diploma. NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES MADE AFTER THIS. 
  3. Are you excited for the Spring Fling? Tickets will be sold next week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) for $25. Make sure to bring exact change or a check payable to AHS and a complete dance agreement from the AHS website or the attendance office.
  4. Incoming juniors and seniors interested in taking English 3 Honors or AP Literature in 2015-2016 need to come to one of two short, informational lunchtime meetings in the Little Theater: Monday March 9 or Tuesday March 10. Questions? See Mr. Purdom in 109A.
  5. Mr. Lopez is looking for students to help out at the NCS Basketball Division 5 Championships onSaturday, March 7th between 3:00 pm and 9:00pm. We are looking for volunteers to help run the scoreboard, shot clock, announcer and admission table. The job pays $25 per game. Stop by the athletic office if you’re interested.
  6. Theater Ensemble is proud to present the award-winning Broadway musical Annie Get Your Gun, a show tracking the love stories and adventures of 1890s shooters, knife-throwers, and entertainers of the Wild West! Shows Thursday 3/12 7pm, Friday 7:30pm, Saturday 2 and 8pm, and Sunday 3pm. Tickets at the door are $10 for students, and you can get tickets online at Brown Paper Tickets or at the door!

  1. Attention Seniors: Are you looking for money for college? If so, the Albany High School Local Scholarship application is now available in the Counseling Office. Pickup an application now! Completed applications are due to Ms. Drake no later than Friday, March 27th.
