General
  1. Today is Earth Day and we would like to raise some awareness with this fun fact.  More than 100 billion pieces of junk mail are delivered in the US each year.  Today after school Earth Team will be selling baked goods in the front.  Come support Earth Team!
  2. 10th grader advisory teachers, please hand out passes to students participating in the UC Berkeley High School Study re-recruitment session NOW. Students, if you receive a slip please go to the Little Theater immediately following the bulletin.
  3. Bulletin notices must be turned in by 1:00 to the bookroom today thru Tuesday, 4/28.
  4. Attention AP students: If you are taking an AP exam in May, please come to the mandatory pre-administration meeting at lunch in the Little Theater today for 9th & 11th graders.
  5. Come join AHS Theater Ensemble in our final production of the year:  George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion”!  The show runs Thursday at 7:00pm and Friday & Saturday at 8:00pm this weekend and next.  Tickets are $8 for students and teachers and $12 for everyone else.  Purchase them online at brownpapertickets.com.  Check us out on Facebook!  See everyone there!
  6. “A Sky Full of Stars,” this year’s prom, will be held on May 30th.  Tickets will be sold next week from April 29th to May 1st at the outside bookroom window.  Make sure to bring a dance agreement and any guest forms.  Dance agreement forms are available in the attendance office or on the website.
  7. Do you want free tickets to prom for you and your guest?  Sign up for public proposals at the leadership board asap!
  8. Interested in playing Lunchtime IM Softball? It's that time of year again. So round up your friends and put together a roster of at least 5 ladies and 5 gentlemen with an appropriate team name and turn that roster into Ms Vasarhely no later than Friday, May 1st to be entered in the tournament. No more than 1 varsity softball and 1 varsity baseball player per team. Questions, see Ms V.
College/Career
  1. Are you a Junior, Sophomore or Freshman?   The PTSA is hosting a free college entrance workshop this coming Tuesday, April 21st from 6:00. 
  2. If you participated in Job Shadow Day, there's an evaluation meeting this Thursday during lunch in the Little Theater.  Pizza will be provided!
